There are no old-time barrels filled
with soda crackers or dill pickles at
Tim Wilson's General Store & Cafe in
New Harmony, but he sells plenty of
other items to munch on.

(french fries, cole slaw, garlic potatoes, cheesy
potatoes, etc.), chicken fingers, etc. Wilson's specialties
include barbecue ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, smoked
chicken breasts and homemade desserts.
Customers are greeted by the sight of '50s and '60s
decor as they enter. Framed Life magazine covers line
the walls, and a scattering of antiques and Coca-Cola
collectibles are displayed here and there.
Wilson's General Store & Cafe opened in May of 1997.
His daughter, Jodi Moore, tends to customers. The
business is located on Church Street on the east side of
New Harmony. Their hours of operation are 11 am to 7
pm Tuesday through Thursday and 11 am to 8 pm Friday
and Saturday..
